Five Mountains conducted its first tea seminar at St Helena's CIA (Culinary Institute of America) and was invited to hold this annually. The lecture for graduating students covered the unwritten history of tea, parallels to wine and tea, cultivars and varieties, tea service and ceremony.

Williams-Sonoma partnered with Five Mountains to create and blend the Williams-Sonoma custom line of culinary teas. These creative gourmet blends were launched in all Williams-Sonoma stores worldwide.

Coffee Houses & Cafes:
In 2008, we began proudly serving many of the Bay Area's most popular cafes and coffee shops. We now have it down to a science. We offer a full range of solutions including tea storage and displays to customized menus, iced teas and more.

Schools & Colleges:
We've designed tea programs for prestigious universities on the West Coast including the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Balancing the needs of faculty and students and providing healthy and productive learning environments is always a rewarding experience.

Craft Cocktails & Mixology:
The Five Mountains Design Studio has been awarded multiple design patents for its work in innovative tea-ware design. We have been experimenting with brewing concepts since 2000 and have come up with beautiful and functional designs that significantly help improve the tea making process.
